London Space Finance 2025 Conference invites Joanne Wheeler to moderate panel

Earlier today, Alden Managing Partner, Joanne Wheeler, moderated a panel on ‘Insurance – Climate, Launch and Space Debris’ at the London Space Finance 2025 Conference.

The discussion covered the growing conjunction risk, technical, market, geopolitical risks, various business risks and the growing concern regarding the continued availability of insurance for satellites operating in LEO.

The panel – including Rory Holmes (ClearSpace), Neil Stevens (Price Forbes), Adam Sturmer (Marsh) and Andrew Bonwick (Relm Insurance) – concluded on the ability of insurance to allow the space industry to survive the ups and downs, and the need for a greater focus towards reliability and sustainability.

The conference was organised by Mark Wheatley, Director at Delano Wheatley Consulting.
